Week 6 – Shoalhaven Mariners Junior Baseball

Week 6 – Shoalhaven Mariners Junior Baseball

T Ball

The Junior Baseball teams had another fun training session this Friday.

To begin the night we ran some warm up exercises for our arms and legs. We then split up into our teams for some training exercises to practice our throwing, catching, batting and running. We had some close races in our obstacle course and some  throwing and catching in pairs, although batting remains a crowd favourite.

The game was a fun one and really showed off all the players have been learning. Patrick Doran and Charles Meagher showed off their fielding skills with several outs. Henry Meredith did great running after balls in the field and had a few good hits as well. Lewis Scicluna also had a good game in the field. Matilda Lewis, Lexi Balzke and Gracie Wilson all had some good hitting and Lily-Rose Palmer and Addicus Scicluna had lots of fun running around the bases. Lalinta Quiney had a great game overall, with some good catching and hitting.

This week’s MacDonald’s Sports Awards were awarded to Henry Meredith and Lalinta Quiney.

Thank you too everyone for yet another great session and we hope to see everyone there next Friday for another fun-filled night.
