Shoalhaven Mariners Minor 2nd Grade played Dapto Panthers at Hector Harvey.
Mariners stared the game with the bats with nice hits from Ben Campbell and Kalysta Palmer bringing in two runs.
Panthers first at bat showed their intensions smashing the ball over the park scoring five runs
Panthers shut Mariners down not allowing them to trouble the scorers but continue their scoring ways even with the bananas in pyjamas pair of Ben Campbell and Ben Quiney changing the pitching duties Panthers bringing in another three runs putting Mariners on the back foot early.
Mariners tried to rally by putting two runs across the plate but Panthers replied with three more runs of their own.
With the game nearly out of reach the Mariners team with many new to the game never dropped their heads and showed what they are made of putting a mighty six runs across the plate with some of those runs coming from players who had never gotten on base before. Sue Stibbard and Chris Keith had great games along with Kalysta Palmer having 2 hits from 2 at bats.
