On Sunday, a cold miserable rainy day at Ison Park South Nowra Mariners took on front runners Wollongong Cardinals 3b team.

Andrew Pearson started on the mound for Mariners, he did a fine job in the conditions not allowing Cardinals to score in the first innings.

With Mariners first turn to bat ,our first two batters starting well. Austin Raymond first up, hit a single to right field followed by Brian Cremin who hit a double to left field bringing in our only run for the innings.

Second innings saw Mariners pitcher Andrew Pearson surcome to the pressure of the day with poor conditions on the mound and Austin Raymond coming in to finish the game. Mariners allowing  5 runs across.

Unfortunately Mariners were unable to get a safe hit or any runs in.
