Shoalhaven Mariners 3rd Grade travelled to Fred Finch Park Berkley to take on the Berkley Eagles for the Baseball Illawarra Pink round.
From the get go Mariners showed their dominance with the bats bringing in runs from the first innings. Backed up by some impressive pitching and fielding the Mariners never looked back. Eagles tried hard but a lot of errors in the field didn’t help their cause.
It’s great to see this Mariners team come together the way they have playing hard and having fun on and off the field which is a major contributor to their winning ways. Mariners taking the win against Eagles 19/3
One of the high lights was Zac Douglas and Simon Levy coming up from 4th grade as a pitcher catcher duo doing a great job not allowing a run to be scored when Zac was on the mound.
