Shoalhaven Mariners 2nd Grade played Berkeley Eagles in the Illawarra Pink Round to help raise funds for Breast Aware on Saturday.
The first two innings were scoreless from both teams in a tight start to the game. The third innings Mariners bats came alive, also forcing errors from Eagles bringing in 3 runs. Mariners had some great fielding in the fourth from Michael Vine and Darcy Franks. In the fifth innings Mariners bats continued to shine bringing another 3 runs across the plate. Michael Vine stood out once again in the field creating a nice double play in the sixth innings. Last innings saw Mariners bring over another 4 runs showing a dominant performance all round winning the game 10/0 .
